Music to my Ears.

Jared Ashley Pensacola
This weekend, the ladies and I went out for the night to listen to some country music. Me, listen to country music…I know shocking! Jared Ashley was performing at LIVE Music Venue. What?! You’ve never heard of him? Well let me tell you something, this man and his band can jam! I’ve probably seen them three or four times now and I never bring my camera, so I finally got a few shots….with the band of course! By the end of the night we were out on the dance floor dancing the night away!

Jake Owen | The Block | Ft. Walton

Jake Owen The Block Ft. Walton Beach
No catchy blog title for this one. Straight and to the point: Jake Owen! Jake Owen was performing about an hour away from Pensacola, in Fort Walton at The Block and I was reminded the day of the show. I saw him perform in 2011 at the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival and fell in love with his music. So I automatically wanted to go next time he was in the area. Thank goodness for amazing friends because I was messaged and asked if I wanted to go to the show and I was put on the list at the door for me plus one. As much as I love country music, I only have a couple of close friends that enjoy it enough to go to concerts with me. Cassie agreed to go with me for my plus one!

Fish House Concert Series In Pensacola

Kip Moore Fish House
I could probably have a conversation with just about anyone, about anything. I really love to talk to people outside of Pensacola. As a native and 7th generation Pensacolian, sometimes the city is just a little too small. Everyone knows everyone and knows about everything, and has their own opinion about it, especially downtown. Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of the reasons I love it and it’s so hard to leave. They always say Pensacola is a black hole. You can leave, but you’ll always come back.
