It’s the Little Things.

Women always talk about the little things are what matter to them. Is it really? I found this website today through a friend and I must say, it really is. After going through the first couple of pages, many of them brought a smile to my face and some made me giggle aloud a little. My dad always use to tell me, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” I know it’s true even though I let little things bother me sometimes. Now, I just look at this list and laugh at how fun “little things” can be. Little Things Little Things – Reading your old diaries/journals. Immature moments with your friends. When your online order finally arrives. and you can find more!

Learning to pick your battles.

I went to go visit my sister recently in North Carolina. We were talking about watching television shows and movies. Lindsay and I don’t laugh at jokes that we see on television normally. Now don’t get me wrong, we think lots of things are funny and amusing but we don’t actually laugh out loud.
June 21, 2011 Birthday Beach Bash.

Can you believe how time flies and you forget to update you blog daily? It’s been a while – since March on Adam’s Birthday since I’ve written. Well Adam has just returned home from being offshore for 30 days. He will be home three weeks and we are both excited to spend some time together. We had a couple of lazy days around the house and then we recently went to the Birthday Beach Bash for their 2nd birthday party. Let’s just say we figured out we’re a pretty limber couple. I entered the Ladies Limbo Contest after being “called out” over the microphone to enter. I left the competition in 3rd place. Adam decided he wanted to enter the Men’s Limbo Contest and took home 1st place! Funny stuff. Photos on

Mardi Gras is Time Consuming!

It’s been Mardi Grad Madness in Pensacola. Here we celebrate Mardi Gras throughout the weekend before Fat Tuesday. There is a parade on Friday night, Saturday during the day and Sunday during the day on Pensacola Beach. It’s my first year in a Mardi Gras Krewe, I’m in the Krewe of Hip Huggers. Here are some updated pictures shot by GoPensacola photographers and PNJ photographers as well. Recovery time now….
